Yoga
Derived from Sanskrit root means 'to yoke' or 'to unite'. Yoga is a union of individual consciousness with that of the Universal Consciousness, indicating a perfect harmony between the mind and body, Man & Nature. (www.mea.gov.in)
After being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in 2011, Brigitta Sasya began practicing yoga. This journey has led her to develop a profound understanding of her body and health. She finds a powerful connection between yoga and health through her practice. Graduated as a bachelor of psychology and a hypnotherapist, she practices yoga as a physical and mental process.
Since then, Brigitta Sasya has deepened her yoga knowledge and trained under respected yoga teachers. Along her journey, she finds deep practice in therapeutic yoga, how the mind and body work together to maintain our well-being. She is a practitioner of Yin, Restorative, Vinyasa, Power, Fly High, MFR, TCM for Yoga, and Thai Yoga Massage.
She has been teaching since 2017 in Bali and has met thousands of people from all over the world in her yoga classes and retreats. Her practice has evolved towards therapeutic yoga, focusing on how the mind and body work together to maintain well-being. Therefore, her classes inspire a personal practice within a group setting to synchronize collective energy as a community. Brigitta Sasya believes yoga creates an opportunity for personal growth allowing space to tune in and build a healthy relationship with ourselves.
"Yoga is restraining the mind-stuff from taking various forms."
